My name is Karen. I have been doing hair since 1987. 3rd generation in my family. It was always my dream to have my own salon. To make a happy environment, where people feel appreciated. Weddings are right up there too. I love all things creative. This truly is my passion.
Hi my name is Nick and I am 4th generation in the hair industry. My Great grandfather, Grandfather, Uncles, and mom were all in the hair business. I love what I do and love making people look good and feel good! I do everything from Waxing to Cutting, Perming, Color and Highlights to Brazilian straighteners, and Extensions. I love my job and enjoy coming to work everyday!
My name is Margie and I am a Master Stylist here at My Hair Salon. I have worked in the industry for 30 plus years. My talents include cutting and styling for men, women, and children. Color, highlighting, permanent waving, and special occasion styling—all the things that make people feel pretty. When I am not at the salon, I am singing at a karaoke somewhere or going for a run in the fresh air.

After work you can find me curled up with a book and my two cats. I am a big football fan and my favorite team is the Ravens. I enjoy cooking and hosting football parties! I look forward to making my clients happy everyday and I’m very passionate about my job!

Hi, I’m Kenzie! I love working with hair, nails and makeup. I have been working in hair salons since I was 16! The best part of my job is making my clients happy! Outside of work you can find me playing video games while listening to music or podcasts. I love animals and have two black cats who I spend most of my free time with as well. I love the positive and friendly atmosphere of My Hair Salon and I hope I can help our clients feel that way too!

Hi, my name is Sofia, and I’ve been involved in the cosmetology industry since I was 16! I’m so excited to be starting my journey as a New Talent Stylist at My Hair Salon. I love specializing in blonding, highlights, and balayage, as well as creating fun, vibrant hair colors that let my clients express their personality. In addition to color services, I also offer hair cutting, waxing, and styling.
Making people feel beautiful and confident is my favorite part of what I do! Nothing’s better than seeing a smile on my client’s face when they leave my chair. When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me indulging in skincare, shopping, hanging out with my cat, or grabbing a Starbucks. Hair is more than just a job to me; it’s something I’m truly in love with, and I can’t wait to grow and create alongside my clients.

My name is Terri, I have been doing makeup for 39 years and have been a nail technician for 34. My family lives on a farm with lots of animals and I truly enjoy taking care of them with my daughter. I love my job and my work family. We are a very eclectic group with a lot of fun and talented people. I enjoy making people look and feel fabulous.

Hi my name is Kim Altvater, I have been a nail technician at My Hair Salon since March 2011. I am a mother of two beautiful girls and am recently engaged to a wonderful man. I love doing nails as I have built many relationships with my co-worker and my clients. I also work at an accounting firm. My Hair Salon is my fun and social job! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, laying on the beach and biking.

Stylist Assistant Andrea (Andi) Hallock has been working in salons on and off for 15+ years. My Hair Salon was her first job where she learned her craft and she’s only added to her technique over the years. While working at My Hair Salon, Andi is also working a second job at Sonny Lee’s Hunan Taste and pursuing an Archeology/Anthropology degree. She loves cats, reading, skincare, and learning random/weird facts.

Hi, I’m Michele. I work part-time at the salon's front desk. I love seeing all the stylists work and how they brighten someone’s day. And I enjoy meeting the customers. I work from home for my full-time job doing bookkeeping and customer service, so it's great to get out and meet new people. I love gardening, cooking, and reading.
Rylee, Shop Manager
Hi, I’m Rylee! As the salon manager, my favorite part of the job is making sure everyone feels warm and welcome and leaves with a smile. When I’m not running the front desk, I’m usually busy studying for my psychology degree. Outside of work and school, I love going for hanging out with friends and just unwinding with some good music. I love the friendly vibe here and can’t wait to see you at your next appointment!
